Math-a-Thon Week!
On
Wednesday the entire school will be participating in the MMH Math-a-Thon! We
are excited to try this out for the first time! I know the students will do
great and appreciate your help in preparing them with the practice package at
home.
Thank
you for all of the parent support with our trip to Aggie Days! The students had
a blast and were excited to touch and learn and experience some of the jobs in
the agricultural field. We are now learning about Prairie Regions in Social
Studies and will be taking a closer look at the community of Saskatoon. Aggie Days was a great kick off for this unit.
Arts Alive
On
May 13 we will be making our way to the SAAG (Southern Alberta Art Gallery) to
take a look at the Arts Alive Exhibit. This is one of my favourite trips as it
highlights the talent of students across our entire district. MMH student work
will be in the exhibit as well as every other school in District 51 as well as the Separate District. We will
be at the SAAG from 12:45 – 2:15. If you are able to drive to and from this
trip please let me know. A note will be coming home on April 29. Thank you so
much!
