PINK Shirt Day
This Wednesday is Pink Shirt Day! We wear pink shirts to bring awareness to our efforts to STOP BULLYING! We had a discussion today about the importance of this day and the students were very aware and ready to discuss how we can help. Please do your best to send your child to school in a pink shirt on Wednesday! Thanks!
Dr. Seuss Day!
This Friday we will be celebrating Dr.Seuss Birthday and all of the fun he has brought to our reading! We ask that the children do the best they can to wear STRIPES! We will be doing reading and writing activities and enjoying all of the Dr.Seuss books we can find!
This week our school counselor - Mrs. Kitigawa and our family connections liason - Mrs. Savage will begin working with all Grade 2's. Their focus over the next few months will be creating and fostering positive friendships.
There will be NO SCHOOL on March 8th due to a PD Day.
