Ivan is Coming to a Close...

Thank you for all of your support with the 3 Schools 1 Book Project!

We are asking students to wear their MMH shirts on Wednesday for our assembly at 10:30 am to close off our Ivan reading project.  The grade 2’s will be singing a song on friendship if you’d like to attend.  We are also encouraging students to wear appropriate clothing for a winter walk in the afternoon.  It will be called a GORILLA walk in honour of our book project on Ivan.  We would like students to wear furry animal hats, etc. if they have them.  If they don’t that’s ok!  Parents are welcome at 10:30 am on February 6^th for the assembly, 12:45 pm for the walk, and anytime throughout the day on Feb. 6 and 7 to enjoy the Ivan-inspired art in the hallways of our school.  Thanks for reading!

Arctic Afternoon!

The grade 2's will be closing our Iqaluit unit with a fun afternoon of Inuit activities. The classes will be mixed into different Arctic animal groups and then move aroun to different reading, listening, physical and artistic activities.

Remember there is NO SCHOOL this Friday, February 8th.
