Awesome job to our Grade 2 group under the direction of Ms. Nevels! “Gettin’ Down with Momma Goose” was amazing. We are so lucky to have Ms. Nevels’ energy, patience and dedication in creating musical opportunities for our students! Thank you!

Swimming

June 3 we will be swimming at Nicholas Sheran from 10 – 11. We will leave the school at 9:30 and be returning just after 11. Thank you to the following volunteers for driving and some who will also be helping to supervise! All students need to make sure they have their suits, towels and brushes etc. for after swimming. Please keep in mind that if your child is a weak swimmer they are limited to where they can play in the pool and your supervision helps greatly.

Boats

I hope that you are all off to a great start with Grade 2 boat building. The students were SO EXCITED about the process during our discussions and lessons in class. Boats are due back at the school no later than June 10th. Please e-mail or call me if you any questions. The boat launch will be on June 13th and is an all-day event! We start with the launch and then head over to the Nicholas Sheran Spray park to play, splash and eat! Please keep the date open if you are interested as we will need a few parent volunteers. An official note will be coming home right away!
